…stop at the Instituto Allende and watch local artist David Leonardo as he paints his fifth and possibly most important mural. This one measures 250sq meter. David started painting this one early this September 2009 inside the beautiful was of the patio at the Instituto Allende one of the two famous Schools of the Arts and Language in San Miguel Miguel de Allende Mx. This portion of the mural is called “The Triumph of Art” and can be best seen from the fountain in the main Plaza of the Instituto Allende. At this vantage point you can also see David’s first mural dedicated to Ignacio Allende. David Leonardo aims to have the entire mural ready for the celebration of independence next Sept 16 in time for the Bicentenial 2010.
